WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will deliver a speech on the Senate floor today at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. MT on his support for raising the minimum wage. Senator Heinrich is a cosponsor of S. 1737, the Minimum Wage Fairness Act, which would raise the hourly federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 by 2015.
