Heinrich To Present Google eCity Award In Los Alamos

WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Friday, October 17, 2014, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will present the Los Alamos business community with the 2014 Google eCity Award. He will be joined by representatives from Google, as well as members of the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation, the Los Alamos Cooperative Market, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, and local officials.

Senator Heinrich is a strong proponent of small businesses using the Internet to help boost job creation, spur innovation, and grow New Mexico's economy. 

Google and Ipsos, an independent research firm, analyzed a variety of factors to determine which cities would receive a Google eCity Award. Winning cities had businesses that exhibited a strong online presence in multiple areas including social media, website, blogs, and mobile accessibility.
