WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Wednesday morning, U.S. Senator Heinrich (D-N.M.) will deliver the keynote address at the Progressive Policy Institute's event, The Future Grid: A Smarter Way to Power America.

Senator Heinrich, a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, is a leader on building a robust 21st century transmission infrastructure and realizing our nation's true clean energy potential. He will discuss bills he's introduced to establish a national energy storage portfolio standard and to ensure that transmission projects get timely regulatory approvals.
