Heinrich to Host Roundtable Conversation to Discuss Need for Newly Introduced Gun Legislation

WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, January 24 at noon ET/10 a.m. MT, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and March Fourth will host a roundtable discussion in the U.S. Capitol with New Mexico law enforcement, firearm owners, influential voices, and advocates for responsible gun ownership, to discuss his newly introduced gun legislation, the Gas-Operated Semi-Automatic Firearms Exclusion Act (GOSAFE) Act.
The GOSAFE Act is designed to protect communities from gun violence, while safeguarding Americans’ constitutional right to own a firearm for legitimate self-defense, hunting, and sporting purposes.
