WASHINGTON - Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico, to meet with local and state leaders about how funding from the American Rescue Plan is supporting New Mexico educators, and clean energy strategies that the City of Las Cruces is implementing.
At 9:30 a.m. MT, Senator Heinrich will meet with New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) and Las Cruces Public Schools officials for the announcement of a new educator fellows initiative made possible through funds secured by Senator Heinrich in the American Rescue Plan.
