WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will deliver a speech on the Senate floor today at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET/ 2:30 p.m. MT on addressing the current Central American refugee crisis.
As a leading voice in addressing the crisis on the southern border and a staunch advocate for comprehensive immigration reform, Senator Heinrich will counter Republican proposals that aim to weaken protections for refugee children and undocumented students known as DREAMers.
