WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will deliver the spring 2014 University of Missouri College of Engineering commencement address on Saturday, May 17 in Hearnes Center.
"I am deeply honored return to my alma mater and address the 2014 graduating class of the University of Missouri's College of Engineering," said Sen. Heinrich, a lifelong advocate for technology, innovation, and clean energy, and the only engineer in the U.S. Senate.
Senator Heinrich graduated from the University of Missouri in 1995 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He currently serves on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources, Intelligence, and Joint Economic Committees.
