WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 28 at 3 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. MT, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will hold his first hearing as Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies.
The hearing titled, “VA Telehealth Program: Leveraging Recent Investments to Build Future Capacity,” will focus on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) long-term vision for integrating telehealth into the way the VA provides healthcare to veterans, and how the VA will leverage investments from Congress in this area.
