WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement today on the terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium:
"My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of this heinous attack. The United States stands in solidarity with Belgium and Europe. A coordinated attack on an airport and metro station is intended to kill as many innocent civilians as possible. This is yet another tragic reminder of why we must relentlessly and intelligently target and eliminate ISIS and other terrorist threats."
