Heinrich Statement On Congressional Baseball Practice Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement on the shooting at a congressional baseball practice:

"It is shocking and troubling news that our colleagues were under attack this morning. Truly sick that someone would turn a firearm on our nation's leaders. Our thoughts will be with Congressman Scalise, the Capitol Police and everyone grappling with this appalling attack."
