Heinrich Statement Marking Labor Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement in recognition of Labor Day:

“As someone who grew up in a union family, Labor Day is more than just a long weekend at the end of summer. Labor Day is about honoring all of our brothers and sisters who work hard to provide for their families and give their kids a better future. It's an opportunity to find common ground and fight for the solutions to the challenges America faces to grow our economy, create jobs, and improve work conditions.
