FARMINGTON, N.M. - In an ongoing effort to provide top-notch constituent service, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich's (D-N.M.) staff will hold Mobile Office Hours in Crownpoint at the 2017 Youth and Elder Summit on Monday, July 31, 2017.
The Youth and Elder Summit promotes positive protective factors, strengthening resiliency, cultural empowerment, and communication. This event features breakout and general sessions pertaining to topics from traditional attire, Ké: Diné Clanship, Parenting & Communication, Peacemaking/Fundamental Law, and other various culturally relevant topics. Staff will be on hand to assist residents who have questions regarding Social Security benefits, Medicare, immigration, veterans benefits, student loans, and other federal programs. All are encouraged to attend.
