Session Part of Quality of Life Initiative
SANTA FE, NM (March 14, 2014) - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich’s staff will join Santa Fe City Councilor Carmichael Dominguez in co-hosting a bilingual community listening session at Santa Fe’s Habitat for Humanity offices on Saturday, March 15. The session is part of the Quality of Life Initiative, which brings together service providers, nonprofits, employers, educators, and residents to address Santa Fe's south side needs and discuss issues important to the community.
Senator Heinrich's office has played an integral role in the initiative by organizing events aimed at helping to promote civic engagement, collaborative governance, and better alignment between service providers in the area. In February, Senator Heinrich met with the Quality of Life Initiative steering committee at La Familia Medical Center in Santa Fe where they discussed how best to strengthen the initiative’s effort to help the community.
This event is open to the public an all are encouraged to attend.
