Heinrich Releases Information For New Mexicans On 2021 Presidential Inauguration

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released information for New Mexicans on the 59th Inaugural Ceremonies, which are expected to take place on January 20, 2021, in Washington, D.C., on the West Front of the United States Capitol.

The Inaugural Ceremonies are managed by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC). As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the JCCIC has announced limitations on in-person attendance at the inauguration and will not be providing Members of Congress with ticket bundles to distribute to constituents.

The JCCIC is planning a virtual component for the day and information regarding participation can be found here

Following the ceremonies, Heinrich’s office will offer commemorative ticket bundles and program packets to New Mexicans upon request. Those who have previously requested inauguration tickets through the office will be offered these items first, and remaining supplies will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. Constituents are asked to email inauguration@heinrich.senate.gov to request these bundles.
