Heinrich Office Hosting Veterans Health Care Information Session In Silver City

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich's Office, will host a Veterans Health Care Information Session tomorrow, Friday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the American Legion Post 18 in Silver City, N.M. The information session will provide an opportunity for veterans to hear from New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System staff about the Veterans Choice Program and meet face to face with VA staff for help accessing care through the Veterans Choice Program. This event is a result of conversations Senator Heinrich and his staff have had with Silver City veterans regarding the difficulty they have had accessing private care through the program. The Veterans Health Care Information Session is free and open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.

Senator Heinrich's staff will also be available to help folks with casework requests including veterans benefits, Social Security benefits, Medicare, student loans, immigration, and other federal programs.
