WASHINGTON — U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and U.S. Representative Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.) are welcoming a federal grant of $1,186,355 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to improve community health services in Mora, New Mexico.
“Every New Mexican deserves access to quality primary and preventative care,” said Heinrich. “Mora Valley Community Health provides life-changing services for members of our community, and I am proud to welcome this federal investment in their critical work.”

HHS has awarded a grant of $1,186,355 to Mora Valley Community Health Services through the Health Center Cluster program. Mora Valley Community Health Services offers quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to community members, regardless of their ability to pay.
