WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) joined several of his colleagues on the Senate Intelligence Committee in sending a letter to President Obama urging him to declassify information relating to the Russian government and the U.S. election.
“We believe there is additional information concerning the Russian Government and the U.S. election that should be declassified and released to the public,” wrote Senator Heinrich and his colleagues in their letter.
U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) led the letter and fellow Intelligence Committee members Senators Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), Mark Warner (D-Va.), Angus King (I-Maine), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), and ex-officio member Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) also joined the letter.
