Heinrich Announces Virtual Mobile Office Hours For Southern New Mexico

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - In an ongoing effort to provide top-notch constituent service during the pandemic, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) announced his next round of Virtual Mobile Office Hours for residents of southern New Mexico. During these online sessions targeting communities across the state, Senator Heinrich’s staff will be available to assist residents who have questions regarding Social Security benefits, Medicare, immigration, veterans’ benefits, student loans, and other federal programs.

"During this challenging time, I am continuing to do everything in my power to fight for the support New Mexicans need, the science-based public health response necessary to save lives, and economic investments to rebuild our communities,” said Heinrich. “By holding Virtual Mobile Office Hours across the state, my hope is that we can provide even more ways to serve New Mexicans from the comfort and safety of their own homes. I encourage constituents who need assistance to register for an upcoming online session in their area or contact my office directly."

The series of Virtual Mobile Office Hours will take place on Thursday, April 1 for residents of the following counties: Catron, Grant, Sierra, Hidalgo, Doña Ana, Luna, and Otero. The Virtual Mobile Office Hours will be held over two sessions via WebEx. Constituents should register for the session that corresponds with the county in which they reside.

Additional Virtual Mobile Office Hours will be announced on an ongoing basis.
