U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) visits the Mescalero Apache School and tours the aquaponics garden created as part of their STEM lab. Mescalero Apache School was named State winner in the 2019 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest, which challenges public school teachers and students in grades 6-12 to show how STEM can be applied to help improve their local community.
