Heinrich Visits ZiaMet MesoNet Weather Monitoring Network, Highlights $1.8 Million In Federal Funding

On Thursday, June 2, 2022, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) met with New Mexico state climatologist Dr. Dave Dubois to discuss how $1.8 million he secured is support data collection through the ZiaMet MesoNet Weather Monitoring Network. This state-wide network monitors surface weather conditions and sub-surface soil conditions and is based out of New Mexico State University.
