Heinrich, Luján, Governor Lujan Grisham, U.S. Secretary Of Health And Human Services Becerra Hold Roundtable Discussion On Lower Costs For Prescription Drugs

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) joined U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for a roundtable discussion with AARP New Mexico highlighting the prescription drug pricing provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act. Provisions from the Inflation Reduction Act will lower health care costs, strengthen the Affordable Care Act, and allow Medicare to negotiate prices and protect consumers.
