Heinrich Joins Leaders at the Bernalillo County Emergency Operations Center & Fire Department

Heinrich toured the Bernalillo County Emergency Operations Center with Bernalillo County Emergency Management Director Thomas Walmsley, Undersheriff Johan Jareno, Undersheriff Aaron Williamson, and Fire Chief Greg Perez to see how the $750,000 Heinrich secured will make needed improvements and renovations to redesign the Center. Heinrich will then be briefed by Chief Perez on how millions of dollars in federal investments he’s secured have benefitted local fire and police departments to better equip first responders with new tools needed to keep New Mexicans safe.
