Ceremony to Thank Deming and Luna County for Response to Asylum-Seeker Influx, October 3, 2019

U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) addressed the ongoing harm and fallout of the Trump administration’s inhumane immigration policies that have affected thousands of asylum seekers in New Mexico. Senator Heinrich recognized community members from Luna County and the City of Deming for their response to assist migrant families.
