Supporting Our Restaurants

Dear Friend,

As New Mexicans, we know the value of good food and good company—it’s why our local restaurants are such anchors in our community. It’s also why I fought to establish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, a new federal program in the American Rescue Plan designed to help our smallest, locally-owned food trucks, bars, and restaurants keep their doors open and their employees on payroll.

>>You can find out more information about the Restaurant Revitalization Fund from the U.S. Small Business Administration and apply for the program here.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opened up applications for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund yesterday. I joined Albuquerque City Councilor Pat Davis and representatives from the New Mexico Small Business Development Center for a briefing with dozens of local restaurant owners from all around New Mexico to provide helpful information and answer their questions about how to apply for assistance. If you or a restaurant owner you know might be eligible for this program, I encourage you to find out more information and to submit an application as soon as possible.

I am committed to doing everything I can to provide the help and resources New Mexicans need to get back on their feet after all we have been through during this past year. My office is here to help you navigate any challenges or identify new opportunities. Please don’t hesitate to contact my office if we can be of any assistance to you and your family.

Sincerely,

MARTIN HEINRICH

United States Senator
