I will not rest

Dear Friend,

There is still no clear plan from the White House to ensure that families are reunited in the wake of President Trump's cruel and unnecessary policy of separating children from their parents. Last week, I joined Senators Tom Udall and Richard Blumenthal on a visit to the border to demand accountability and answers.

I hope you can take a moment to watch and share a speech I just gave on the Senate Floor about what we saw at the border and where we must go from here.

We must not turn our backs on the ideals and fundamental values that made the United States both the most powerful nation on Earth and a beacon of moral leadership. We must continue to make our voices heard and demand reunification for all of these children with their families.
